Master Rhee's style of Karate and Martial Arts encompasses the PaSaRyu system. In 1945, Master Byung In Yun established the Y.M.C.A.
Martial Art Club in Seoul, Korea. Sadly he was killed in the Korean War. In 1947, Master Nam Sak Lee established the Chang Moo Kwan Kong Soo Do Association in Seoul, Korea. Here, Master Kang Rhee trained under Master Lee from 1953 through 1956 where he learned the value of perfect, clear technique. Today was a good day. Got to see old friends and met some new ones. Master Yong Rhee spoke about using proper techniques and keeping our PaSaRyu system alive. Everyone did great in their training and we all learned new and exciting information. Our lunch was awesome and neatly prepared and served with professionalism by Patsy Jackson Jones and her helpers. The Warren Community Church was very gracious on letting us use their beautiful facility. Kevin Barnes did a great job on speaking and keeping the event moving. The PaSaRyu Advisory Committee shared knowledge and input on how we need to keep PaSaRyu moving forward in the years to come. We had 35 black belts attend and I think we all left with knowing our Katas a little better. Thanks to everyone who attended and look forward to seeing everyone next year about the 3rd week of March....

SUN! We had a great seminar Saturday. The severe weather caused some of our folks to have to turn around mid-trip due to wind and hail. We are very thankful that everyone came out of it safe. We will all get together at the next event which is the Annual PaSaRyu Tournament on April 12, 2025.
Congratulation to Master Jackie "Falcon" Smith on his promotion to 9th Dan. He has had his time in rank for many years, but deferred promotion in previous years so his "seniors" (you can read that as "old people") could be advanced first. Though PAC has equal responsibilities among its members, Master Smith has always shouldered more that his fair share of the burden and has been a positive leading force in our organization. Thank you Master Falcon for always Taking Care of Business in true PaSaRyu fashion.
Finally, we would like to thank Master Coy "Ram" Jones and his crew for hosting this year's seminar. Thank you to Warren Community Church for the use of your gymnasium. It was an excellent venue. It was a big success. SUN!
