Texas A&M Weather Broadcasting provides students with actual on-air experience for future careers in broadcasting as well as essential forecasting skills necessary for any job in meteorology. Student volunteers are responsible for creating a 2-day forecast for the Bryan-College Station area, writing a brief forecast discussion, announcing the current conditions and forecast on KAMU-FM 90.9, KEOS 89.1, & KTRL 90.5 and recording a podcast for The Battalion.
