1.) Raise awareness.
2.) Pray for the oppressed.
International Justice Mission Texas A&M student chapter is a Christian social justice organization that seeks to promote awareness for human rights violations worldwide in the areas of human trafficking, forced labor slavery, unprosecuted rape, illegal land seizure, police brutality, and unlawful detention. Raise funds that go directly to the men and women in the field freeing slaves, to the lawyers seeking justice, to the aftercare of the victims, and to the prevention of these crimes.

As we approach Race to Rescue many of us feel the weight of the sins of racial prejudice and injustice on our hearts.
To stand in solidarity we've decided to postpone race to rescue till June 20-21.

with christmas quickly approaching i know a lot of us are probably doing some last minute gift shopping. it’s so easy to just go on amazon or run over to target and grab the first thing that catches your eye, but please try to look into buying fair trade/ethical products this christmas!! so many of the products that we’ll want to buy have likely been produced by workers who are being exploited for the profit of larger corporations. so try to make a difference with how you shop this year and support businesses that are building up and supporting the marginalized, instead of exploiting and enslaving them!
and if you want to make an even more direct impact financially, consider donating at the link in our bio! 100% of the funds raised go to rescuing people out of slavery and providing the means for rehabilitation and reintegration into society!

y’all! threads was so successful! we exceeded our fundraising goal and were able to spread our passion for justice to so many people who asked us about threads! thank you so much to anyone who came and bought clothing!! we are so grateful 💛

threads - a pop up thrift shop to end slavery - at texas a&m on november 14-15!
here’s a peek at some of the awesome clothing we’ll be selling at our pop-up thrift shop this week. our prices are super cheap but our clothing is super high quality, and all the proceeds will go to funding rescue missions for people trapped in slavery!
we will be in msc 2405 on thursday from 1-4, and rudder plaza on friday from 1-4. we would love to see you there! like and share this post to spread the word!
