Plant trial season is just around the corner.

Evaluating growth response to 3 bed management practices: 1) control-no amendment + 3" layer of mulch, 2)Earth-Kind - 3" layer of compost tilled + 3"layer of mulch, 3) 3" layer of pecan biochar tilled + 3" layer of mulch. Soil moisture is being recorded using IBM's Liquid Prep sensors.

Working with Magnolia Gardens Nursery to evaluate 3G Buxus root response of perimeter pots covered with a white pot cover. Soil temperatures will be monitored throughout the trial on the control and covered pots.

The Top 3 plants voted by the attendees at field day. Helianthus Sunfinity Yellow-Red Bicolor, Scaevola Fanatix Dark Blue, Purslane Rio Grande Raspberry Lemonade
