We understand there is not a one-size-fits-all to coding education, and we are committed to developing a diverse set of initiatives.

Frontier Technology Institute (FTI) is a 501(c)(3) international nonprofit dedicated to ensuring emerging tech education is accessible, supportive, and empowering for all students. Founded by a Brown undergraduate, The Coding School is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of traditional coding education to ensure coding is accessible and empowering for all students. Our programs currently include: in school and virtual classroom programs, one-on-one lessons and mentorship, and a program for students with learning disabilities. The Coding School has the largest network of computer science instructors in the country, consisting of a teaching team of 600+ computer science instructors from 75 universities and 30 companies. From studying at Stanford, Ole Miss, and Duke to working at SpaceX, J.P. Morgan, and IBM, our instructors are engaging and passionate about teaching computer science to the next generation. Our educational partners include USC STEM Consortium, USC Viterbi School of Engineering, UCLA’s School of Engineering, and Villanova University.
