The Maryland Alpha chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon, founded in 1956 and reestablished in 2011 by Ti Dinh, is the Math National Honors Society at UMD. We are dedicated to promoting mathematics within our members and the community. We currently have 77 actives, both undergrad and graduate and applications to join us are available around the 2nd week of every semester. It is open to any math major/minor who wishes to apply and is eligible - please see the links below for more information.
