Our team continues to grow and we are excited to introduce our families to the newest member of our team.

Meet Catherine

Catherine is joining our team as an administrative assistant. You won't see her in the office often but she will be a voice behind the phone if following up on paperwork, billing, etc. We are incredibly grateful for her help and expertise!

Catherine has a background in healthcare administration and medical coding. She enjoys helping others, staying organized, and supporting the team behind the scenes. At Arise n’ Shine, she is excited to contribute to the practice and help support the children and families we serve.

As a mother, Catherine especially appreciates the meaningful work we do to support children and their families. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active and spending time with her family.

We are bringing back our playgroups and kinder-play for the fall. Ms. Alicia will be back leading the groups. Each group will run bi-weekly (with the exception of holidays) on Monday mornings. Families can choose which weeks they would like to attend as opposed to the full sessions we previously offered. We can't wait for the fun and learning to take place in our new space!

⏰ **1.5-hour classes**
👥 **Maximum of 5 children per group**

🌱 **Story Sprouts** | **9:00–10:30 AM**
Perfect for blossoming readers who are building fluency and confidence with early reading skills. Children will practice decoding unfamiliar words using letter-sound knowledge, spelling patterns, and picture/context clues while strengthening comprehension through retelling stories, identifying main ideas, and sequencing events.

🧭 **Reading Explorers** | **10:45 AM–12:15 PM**
**Designed for children ages 6–8**

Our Reading Explorers program is designed to spark excitement for reading while building essential literacy skills through engaging, hands-on activities. This group is ideal for children who know their letters and letter sounds and are beginning to decode simple words and read sight words. It's a wonderful opportunity to build confidence and foster a love of reading!
