After 12 years as the Regional Math Specialist serving Northern Idaho, I am stepping down from my position. It has been an honor to serve the state of Idaho in this role. I thank you all for letting me be part of your educational community.

We know that the work of teachers is seldom confined to a forty-hour week. We know that they work tirelessly to improve the world around them by educating, inspiring, and caring for the next generation. We appreciate the work of teachers every day!
As teachers and students begin preparing for the annual ISAT test, we wanted to make everyone was aware of some changes. This year's test will be a shortened version. There is a modified ISAT blueprint available for review. Please use the link below to access this document.

Model talks are a nice ways to focus students on mathematical structure while teaching new methods for operating on numbers. These can also be used as entry tasks for reviewing previous materials.
