Part 2 of the ekontravel RoadArmor Pants review… and this one got WET. 🌧️😂

Day two left me barefoot in a convenience store bathroom wringing out my socks.

Yep. You heard that right. 😂

Unfortunately, after putting these pants through a very real-world rain test, they did not keep the water out. And when you’re hundreds of miles into a motorcycle weekend, soggy pants are one thing… soggy socks inside riding boots are a whole different level of misery. 🫠

The verdict so far?
I LOVE the fit. I love how they look. I’ll absolutely wear them again on a nice riding day.

But rain in the forecast? 🌧️
0% chance I’m trusting them without rain gear over the top.

Sometimes a gear review requires a few hundred miles. Apparently, sometimes it also requires getting naked in a gas station bathroom. 🤣

Part 1 of our weekend trip review is here! 🏍️

The good. The WET. And the ugly. 😂🌧️

After putting about 500 miles in the saddle in our ekontravel RoadArmor Pants, I’ve officially got some thoughts. We got plenty of seat time, changing temps, long stretches on the bike—and yep, Mother Nature decided to help with the testing too. 💦

So… are they actually worth it? Here’s my review after our first real weekend putting them to work.

This may be one of my favorite captures ever. 🌈

God’s promise stretched across the sky, my reflection riding right beside me, and Kev and I finishing out an incredible weekend with some pretty great friends.

Sometimes you get a moment that makes you look around and think… dang, God is good. 🤍

Grateful for this life. Grateful for my guy. Grateful for every mile we get to ride together.

Just cruising down the interstate when my camera chose violence. 😂

Abandoned its post, swung down, and WHACKED me in the helmet before choosing its own camera angle. 💥🎥

Apparently we have a creative differences situation. 🤣🏍️

We went to a pretty special 2-year-old’s birthday yesterday. 🥹🏍️

Did we know the birthday boy? Nope.
Did we know his parents? Also nope. 😂

But we showed up anyway.

Because that’s what the biker community does. ❤️

His dad reached out and shared that their family is new to the area and doesn’t know many people yet. Their little guy is OBSESSED with motorcycles, and he wondered if maybe a couple of bikes could stop by for his birthday.

Less than 24 hours after the ask went out, about 15 motorcycles rolled in to celebrate the coolest 2-year-old around. 🥹

We hung out. We laughed with him. We watched his face light up as all those bikes pulled in. And Kev let him sit on his bike and rev it over…and over…and over again. 😂 Safe to say, that might have been his favorite part.

This is one of the things I love most about the biker community.

Sometimes you don’t need to know someone’s name. You don’t need a connection or a reason. You hear there’s an opportunity to make someone’s day a little more special, and you show up.

Pretty dang proud to be part of a community that is always willing to be bigger than itself.

EKON gifted Kev and me each a pair of RoadArmor pants to try, so naturally we had to open them up and see what we’re working with. He got the army green, I got the black, and now the real question is…will they pass the Throttle & Grace riding test?

We’ll be putting them through our actual adventures and sharing our honest thoughts along the way. The good, the bad, and probably a little commentary from Kev. 😆

One wild, beautiful life. 🥹

So grateful I get to spend mine chasing open roads, new places, and unforgettable adventures with my favorite person.

Take the trips with your kids. Make the memories. Show them the world.

But take the trips without them, too. Reconnect, laugh, explore, and remember who you are beyond being Mom and Dad.

Chase the dream. Make it count. We don’t get a rewind button. 🤍
