Our 1st and 2nd grade students worked hard and earned raffle tickets for their growth on AMIRA testing! Students were able to choose which raffle they wanted to enter: Principal for the Day, an Amazon gift card, or a Basket of Fun.
After randomly drawing tickets, congratulations to Miss Paisley and Mr. Ryker for being our “Principal for the Day” winners! We are so proud of all of our students for their effort, growth, and hard work this year!

Yesterday, students at Winton had an amazing bike safety rodeo and assembly courtesy of our School Resource Officer, Lee Morgan, along with teammates Officer Erickson and Officer Noble. They spent time teaching students important bike safety skills and helping reinforce safe riding habits for summer. Students were also excited to receive bike locks, helmets, and even two brand-new bikes that were given away!
This opportunity was made possible through a $2,500 grant opportunity promoted by Kootenai Electric Cooperative to support bike safety initiatives. The Coeur d'Alene Police Department applied for and secured the funding to help bring this experience and these resources to our students. We also appreciate Fred Meyer for providing discounts on items used for the event and giveaways.
A huge thank you to everyone involved for investing in the safety, well-being, and excitement of our students and community!
