Meet the A11y Camp Speaker: Natalie Davison
Natalie is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) with a Bachelors of Science in Disability and Community Services and a Masters of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling. Currently the Assistant Director of the Educational Access Center at in Idaho, Natalie is the primary coordinator for Assistive Technology and Alternative Formats. Natalie is Secretary on the Executive Board of the Access Technology Higher Education Network (ATHEN). Natalie has worked for and with people with disabilities for 12 years in various capacities, and has enjoyed higher education for 8 years. One of Natalie's favorite job duties is producing Audio Descriptions for academic media, having completed the ACB's Audio Description Institute in 2024.
Natalie will be presenting on "Math Content: Accessibility Tools & Alternative Formats"

Thursday, November 9 marked the first Award Ceremony at the Lighthouse for the Blind in San Francisco.
The GAADys honors advances in digital accessibility following the (Global Accessibility Awareness Day) Foundation’s mission to disrupt the culture of technology and digital product development to include accessibility as a core requirement.
North Idaho College's IT Accessibility Coordinator, Jeremy Seda, was involved as a GAADys Planning Committee member and was fortunate to attend the inaugural accessibility award ceremony.

North Idaho College’s IT Acessibility Coordinator, Jeremy Seda presented, moderated, and served as a panelist at the fourth American University of Beirut (AUB) ABLE Summit on September 14 & 15 in Beirut, Lebanon.
“The AUB ABLE Summit is an amazing grassroots approach to moving accessibility forward, not just in higher education institutions, but the country of Lebanon as a whole.
