Great news for Coatesville Area School District!

Dear CASD Community,

Over the last several months, the Coatesville Area School District (CASD) Board of School Directors has taken time to carefully consider the district’s next leader. Today, we’re writing to share an important update: The Board has selected Interim Superintendent Dr. Anthony Rybarczyk as the next Superintendent of Schools for CASD.

We understand the importance of this decision—especially given the challenges and leadership transitions our district has experienced in recent years. That’s why we’ve prepared a brief summary (attached) to walk you through the thoughtful process we followed and the key reasons behind our decision.

The summary outlines:

· The steps we took to engage the community

· Why the timing of this decision matters

· Why we selected Dr. Rybarczyk

· Acknowledgment of where we could have improved the process—and how we’re committed to doing better

Our decision was made with a clear focus on stability, trust, and a vision for the future. Dr. Rybarczyk has led with integrity, built meaningful relationships with staff and families, and proven his ability to guide CASD through complex challenges.
