CTE at BISD and the BISD Board recognized Shintech during last night's meeting for its continued support of our students and programs. Over the past three years, Shintech’s annual golf tournament has raised nearly $100,000 to provide valuable opportunities for CTE students.

A special thank you to Paul Spinks and Blaine Moritz for their leadership and dedication in making this event a success year after year. We appreciate their partnership and investment in our students!

She is a former teacher, parent, volunteer, and small business owner with a strong commitment to public education and our community. Get an Inside Look at BISD!
Applications are now open for the 2026-2027 BISD Community Ambassadors Program, an opportunity to learn more about our daily operations, programs, schools, students, and staff through behind-the-scenes experiences across the district.

Participants will attend four lunch sessions held at BISD campuses and facilities throughout the year. Lunch is provided!

Session Dates (11:00 AM – 1:30 PM)
Session 1: Thursday, October 8, 2026
Session 2: Thursday, November 5, 2026
Session 3: Thursday, December 3, 2026
Session 4: Thursday, January 21, 2027
