An incredible way to wrap up our last full day in D.C. From the Bible Museum and Library of Congress Archives to meaningful conversations at the Capitol Hill Club, SLD students were grateful to participate with Palmetto Leads in experiences that challenged this generation of leaders to engage culture through a biblical worldview.

History reminds us of the importance of remaining grounded in biblical truth and faithfully stewarding the freedoms we have. A powerful day in Washington, D.C. From Arlington National Cemetery and the Changing of the Guard to the Holocaust Museum, American History Museum, and our nation’s monuments, students gained a deeper appreciation for the sacrifice, leadership, and convictions that shaped our country.

First full day of Palmetto Leads in our Nation’s Capitol!

Students explored the foundations of biblical leadership through a Capitol tour, heard from Tim Barton of WallBuilders, and were challenged to ground their identity in Christ and develop the spiritual disciplines that shape effective leaders.

True cultural impact begins with a strong faith, biblical conviction, and a commitment to lead with excellence wherever God calls.

Monday night, we had the honor of recognizing and celebrating our seniors! We are beyond thankful for each one of them and the impact they’ve made through serving our community, loving people well, and leading others with kindness and faith. Watching them grow in leadership, confidence, and purpose has been such a blessing.

As they step into new seasons, we are praying over every plan, opportunity, and path ahead of them. We know God has incredible things in store, and we can’t wait to see all He does through their lives!

We also had the opportunity to commission our very own Diego as he prepares to go on a mission trip with Go Love! We are so proud of him and excited to see how God uses him to reach and encourage others. Please be praying for him as he steps into this next chapter!

To our seniors: Thank you for serving, showing up, leading, loving this community, and leaving a lasting impact. You will always be family, and we are cheering you on every step of the way!

What an amazing way to wrap up our final seminar of the year!

A huge thank you to Mr. Jeff for opening up his home and letting us spend time together by the pool as we celebrated all the hard work these students have put in throughout the year. From end-of-the-year presentations to fellowship and preparation for what’s ahead, it was such a meaningful day. The presentations went so well, and we are so proud of every student and all they’ve accomplished this year!

Before all the fun, we also spent time making posters for our FREE Car Wash happening THIS Saturday from 10 AM–2 PM in Cindy’s parking lot in Rock Hill. We would love to see the community come out and support!

We were also honored to hear from Jeremiah Days as he spoke on resiliency and trusting God through every season of life. A powerful reminder that while our plans may change, God’s plans are always greater.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support and pour into this ministry and these students!

Yesterday for National Day of Prayer, people from all across the community came together to pray over students and teachers, families, first responders, military, media, businesses, churches, our country and leaders, and so many other areas of our community and nation.

One of our students had the opportunity to pray over students and teachers, while one of our graduates, who is now attending The Citadel, prayed over our first responders and also led the Pledge of Allegiance. It was such a meaningful moment to see these young leaders boldly stepping up to serve, lead, and pray for others.

So grateful to be part of a community that believes in the power of prayer and the importance of covering every generation and every area of life in prayer!

Had such a great night sharing the CCC presentation with a local youth group! Our students and graduates got to speak on how to have courageous and compassionate conversations that point people to Jesus.

We talked about praying before and during conversations, asking God for wisdom, approaching others with both truth and love, finding common ground, asking good questions, and not assuming or attacking people with different views. One of the biggest takeaways: always leave the door open for another conversation by ending with gratitude and kindness!

So proud of these students for stepping up and sharing with honesty, wisdom, and compassion. Grateful for such a meaningful night!
