📚October is National Book 📚 See below from our friends Early Learning Partnership of York County

National Book Month is here! 🎃 Reading is an important skill for everyone, but it's especially vital for children and their success in school. Here are some ways to celebrate books with your little one this month:

🍁Start a new book together
🍂Attend story time at the library
🍁Have a family reading night
🍂Visit a local bookstore

By inspiring a love of reading in your child, you are giving them a gift that will last a lifetime!

💗📚 Honoring Dolly Parton on 9/25! 📚💗

Today we’re celebrating the incredible Dolly Parton and the love she has shared with generations of children through the gift of books. 📖✨

At CSD Bright Beginnings, we love books, too! 💕

🍂 What a wonderful evening at Harvest Happenings! 🎃CSD School Social Workers and CSD Bright Beginnings partnered to promote health and wellness, early learning and literacy wrapped in lots of fun! The goal was to bring families together while connecting them with valuable services and resources available through the school district and throughout our community.

We had such a great time bringing families together for an evening filled with fun, laughter, learning, and connection! From the read-aloud, music & movement, and play stations to snacks, parent education, and a special visit from the Bookmobile, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Each family took home a game pack. Books were donated by Early Learning Partnership. 📚🚌❤️

A huge thank you to all the families who joined us and helped make the event so special! We loved celebrating our community together. 🧡🍁

Thank you for helping us make learning, growing, and connecting so much fun!

🍂🎶📚 What a wonderful day of learning, music, stories, and play! We were so excited to welcome 70 guests to CSD Bright Beginnings Play to Grow. 💛

We were honored to have Lori Maczko, Principal of Oakridge Elementary School, join us for story time. She read Let It Fall and Beautiful Hands, giving our little learners a chance to enjoy two wonderful stories together. 📖🍁

🎵 Bria, the Music Lady, brought the fun with a special introduction to the thumb piano! Our children explored music while learning about major and minor chords. What a fun way to discover how music can sound and feel different! 🎶

We wrapped up our day with free play outside, giving everyone time to explore, move, imagine, and enjoy the beautiful day together. ☀️🛝

Thank you to all 70 guests who joined us and helped make the day so special! We love creating opportunities where children and families can learn, grow, play, and connect together. 💕
