Twenty-one CHS students studying Spanish are currently traveling through Spain, experiencing the country's rich history, culture, and language firsthand. Their journey includes visits to Madrid, Granada, Seville, the Costa del Sol, and Benahavís. What an incredible opportunity for learning and adventure!

Aubrey shines in English class! She brings creativity to each class. She is also constantly observant, keenly insightful, and studious. Aubrey is intentional and direct in expression and a strong reader and critical thinker!

Congratulations to Ethan Lavan for winning the Boys Tennis Section 7A individual tournament and to Devin Cary for placing third. Ethan advances to the state tournament for the 4th consecutive year!

This past Sunday, May 17, Cloquet High School celebrated all of its student letter winners at the annual Letterman’s Banquet. This year, Cloquet High School had a total of 348 student letter winners. We are so proud of all of our students who participate in sports, activities, and student organizations.

Last week, on a beautiful 67°F day, CHS ninth graders headed to the school forest to plant bare root seedlings. Students planted yellow birch and white spruce to help restore areas impacted by the Emerald Ash Borer and improve the long-term climate resilience of the forest. Along the way, students worked with tools, collaborated as a team, and enjoyed the fresh air and hands-on learning experience.

We are also excited to share that we are quickly approaching an incredible milestone — nearly 1,000 seedlings planted over the past six years, all by CHS ninth graders!
