The Nutrition Mission, a program of Compassionate Connections Inc, is honored to be selected as a recipient of funding through the ThedaCare Medical Center–New London Quasi Endowment Fund!

This generous investment in our mission will help provide nutritious weekend meal backpacks to children experiencing food insecurity throughout our community. Because of this support, more students will have access to healthy meals when school meals aren't available—helping them return to the classroom nourished, focused, and ready to learn.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to ThedaCare Medical Center–New London, the Foundation committee, and everyone who makes this grant program possible. Your commitment to improving the health and well-being of our communities goes far beyond healthcare—it creates lasting change for local children and families.

We are honored to stand alongside so many outstanding organizations working to strengthen the Wolf River area, and we're proud to continue our mission of ensuring no child has to face the weekend hungry.

💙🏃 Thank You, Sturgeon Shuffle 10K 5K 🏃💙

A heartfelt THANK YOU to the organizers, participants, sponsors, and supporters of the Sturgeon Shuffle for choosing to dedicate the proceeds from their event to weekend food backpack programs that help end childhood hunger right here in Waupaca County.

Because of your generosity, children who may otherwise go without nutritious meals on weekends will have access to the food they need to stay healthy, grow, and be ready to learn when they return to school.

At Compassionate Connections Inc, we are honored to operate The Nutrition Mission, providing weekend meal bags to hundreds of students each week throughout the school year. Community partnerships like this make our mission possible and remind us of the incredible compassion that exists throughout Waupaca County.

The Clintonville Public School District will be providing free, nutritious meals to children 18 years old and under. Now with a new Rural Non-Congregate or Meals-to-Go Program, they are also able to provide free meals for children to take home to eat when summer school is not in session.

This session will be breakfast and lunch meals that cover a full 7 day week per child. The meals will consist of a combination of shelf-stable and perishable foods that will need to be refrigerated and/or frozen.

-Children do not need to be enrolled in the Clintonville Public Schools to participate in the program.

-No proof of income is required.

-The person(s) listed on the sign-up form must be the person(s) picking up the meals.

-Other Families can not pick up for other participants in the program. Must be guardians.

We are incredibly grateful to TreeHouse Foods for their generous donation of an entire pallet of oatmeal to The Nutrition Mission!

This donation will help us provide nutritious breakfast options to hundreds of children and families throughout our community. Oatmeal is a versatile, filling, and healthy food that helps start the day off right, making it a wonderful addition to our meal bags.

Community partnerships like this make a tremendous difference in our ability to serve over 300 children each week through The Nutrition Mission. Every donation helps ensure that local children have access to nutritious foods when school meals are unavailable.
