It's scrimmage night! 🌪️

The Clinton Red Tornadoes are kicking off the season tonight as we welcome the Anadarko Warriors to town!

🏈 Action begins at 6:00pm
🎟️ Admission is free, but we'd be so grateful for a donation of towels, soap, a case of water, or snacks to help stock the team’s supplies.

Tonight’s scrimmage is high school only. There will be no middle school scrimmage today.

Come out, support the Reds, and help us get the season started! 💛

First Monday night rehearsal is in the books! 🎶

Our band kicked off its first Monday night rehearsal this week with plenty of hard work, teamwork, and creativity. And when you have instruments this cool, why not turn them into art, too? 🎨🎺🥁

We love seeing our students bring their creativity and personality to everything they do. Here’s to a great season ahead!

CMS students put their STEM skills to the test with a cup-stacking challenge! Students worked together to build towers using rubber band pulley tools to carefully move and arrange cups without touching them directly.

This hands-on activity challenged students to communicate, problem-solve, think creatively, and work as a team. Learning is even better when you can build it together! 🤝

It was a great start to the cross country season today in Blanchard! First up was the middle school girls race and our 6th graders did a great job! Kailey Medina was the first Clinton runner to cross the finish line with a time of 13:45 in the 1.5 mile race. Finishing behind her for Clinton was Adrianah Rhoads, Sophie Cates and Charleigh Begay.
Next up was the middle school boys race. Drew Griffith had a new personal best in the 2 mile race with a 12:25 and placed 3rd. Finishing next for Clinton in his first cross country race as a 6th grader was Amari Reed with a time of 14:18. He was followed by Lucas Jaggers, Noah Miller, Ryan Hill and Zaadin Rhoads. Our first time to have a full middle school boys team and we ended in 5th place out of ten with a young group that will be fun to watch for years to come!
In the HS girls race we had one as some of our other runners were unable to make it this week. Harmonee Cates came out and did a great job! She barely missed medaling by finishing in 25th with a time of 17:09 in the 2 mile race.
The last race of the day was the HS boys race. Bentlee Hernandez had a great first showing of the season winning the 5K race with a time of 17:25. Coming in next for the Reds was Jeremiah Grimes in his first cross country race with a time of 28:13.
There are big things happening for our runners and we are excited to watch it all unfold!

What an incredible day of learning with Valentina Gonzalez during teacher inservice! 🎉

Our educators had the opportunity to learn from Valentina Gonzalez, a nationally recognized educator, author, and speaker who specializes in supporting multilingual learners and helping teachers create classrooms where every student can thrive.

Her message, expertise, and practical strategies gave our staff plenty to think about and take back into their classrooms. We are grateful for the opportunity to invest in our teachers and continue growing together!

Thank you, Valentina, for inspiring our educators and helping us build stronger, more inclusive learning experiences for every student! 💛
