National Family Engagement Alliance

National Family Engagement Alliance The National Family Engagement Alliance (NFEA) vision is to transform education through meaningful family engagement. Our strategy is simple.

The National Family Engagement Alliance provides resources and support to educate, equip, and mobilize individuals, families and organizations to ensure student success. To create a movement focused on increasing student achievement through networks of concerned and engaged families, and other stakeholders. We will accomplish this by:
1. Building a robust, national network of individuals and orga

nizations.
2. Developing a clearinghouse of data and research in support of family engagement.
3. Mobilizing and activating parents from turn-around-schools, Title I schools, and/or those that are at risk of not meeting AYP.
4. Helping parents and organizations translate research into practice by developing and delivering evidence-based programs and resources.

parents, students & families. It time to stop messy partisan politics and work together to help & to support the needs of our youth.

"CDC released the Youth Risk Behavior Survey Data Summary & Trends Report: 2011-2021...This data offers an important snapshot of adolescent health and well-being related to sexual behavior, substance use, experiences of violence, mental health, and suicidal thoughts and behaviors. This year’s report also includes data on students’ experiences of unstable housing, school connectedness, and parental monitoring to build on our understanding of young people’s environments and opportunities to improve them.

The data tell a distressing story about the health and well-being of our nation’s young people. Findings are especially stark among some groups of students." https://www.cdc.gov/nchhstp/dear_colleague/2023/DSRT-DCL.html
