Today at 11 am on Good Day Live and 6 pm on WTWO Sports Rick Semmler will introduce you to this months WTWO-First Farmers Bank & Trust Inspiring Athlete in South Vermillion football player Mason Larson.
Last week his mom Jade passed due to a sudden illness. Last Friday Mason played his first football game without his mom. No one knew Wildcats head coach Corey Miller had a special play up his sleeve for that game. Coach used it for Mason to score the first SV touchdown of the season and his very first varsity TD in honor of his mom.

SVHS BOYS XC WINS THE RP INVITE

South Vermillion Boys Cross Country wins an invitational for the 2nd straight weekend. Boys placed 1st out of 15 total teams at the 33rd annual Riverton Parke Invitational (68 runners)

9th - Ayden Lawrence (18:35)
12th - Alex Pate (19:14)
15th - Keelyn Minor (19:23)
17th - Kayvin Mendoza-McIntyre (19:50)
18th - Deider Buffo (19:57)
34th - Dom Robinson (22:02)

In the Girls race, Freshman Lainy Gilman medals coming in 9th place overall with a time of 23:10.

Rachael Plank places 26th, Bailey Dowdy 28th, Charles Milam 34th, Brenly Hill 49th, and Matilda Kelshiemer 53rd for the Wildcats.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

South Vermillion (1-0) travels to Sullivan (1-0) to take on the Golden Arrows in Week 2 of Indiana High School Football.

Kickoff at 7:00 pm at Sullivan High School. Come out and support our Wildcats!

Parking Info: Wildcat fans are asked to park in lots behind the high school. There is an entry gate on that side of the field.
