Chase Struna and co put on a clinic for the first week of season up here in the north woods. World class angling and world class scenery, we boated 32 pike over that 40” benchmark, with the biggest being 46.5”. A phenomal start the 2026 fishing season, that’s only just beginning. 🐉 🎣 🛥️

An unreel spring it has been. 23 successful miles logged mushroom hunting and numerous great afternoons on the river whooping bass, walleye and drum. Let’s keep her rolling. 🎳

It’s that time of year when Great Lakes smallmouth make their journey upriver to spawn, we’ve been lucky enough to intercept of few of those fish during their travels. All released safely to create the next generation of Great Lake Smallmouth, a local treasure that I’m so lucky to have in my own backyard.
