This week our CuriosityClub was introduced to Behavioral Sciences by budding scientist Arven Narra ( Gupta Narra)

Arven’s topic was “Instinct vs. Learning” using the behavior of Zebra Finches.

We discussed different types of instincts and also “Learned Instinct” which is at the intersection of Learning and Instinct.

Let’s be honest: not every child is wired for rote memorization or heavy textbook learning. (If your child struggles with this, you are certainly not alone! , I was that child too!)

For many, the abstract only becomes real once it’s tangible. One small robotics project can do more than teach code—it builds a foundation of:
• Resilience: Learning that a "broken" build is just a puzzle waiting for a solution.
• Creative Autonomy: Realizing there are ten different ways to solve the same problem.
• Collaborative Spirit: Discovering that the best innovations happen when we lean on each other’s strengths.
