We’re proud to celebrate Behind the Lines: A 9/11 Story, a powerful production created by Dominick Farinacci, Director of the Tri-C JazzFest Academy and faculty member in Tri-C’s School of Creative Arts, and U.S. Army combat veteran Jaymes Poling. The production recently launched a 15-city national tour from Cleveland, bringing its message of resilience, service and hope to audiences across the country.

Behind the Lines combines live music with firsthand accounts from a combat veteran and a retired FDNY firefighter, creating a moving and deeply personal experience. As our nation observes the 25th anniversary of the events of September 11, the production brings audiences together through storytelling, reflection and healing while honoring those whose lives were forever changed.

Through this unique blend of music and personal narrative, Behind the Lines highlights the strength of the human spirit and the power of shared experiences to foster understanding, connection and healing.

Congratulations to Dominick, Jaymes and the entire Behind the Lines team on this meaningful work and well-deserved recognition. The production was recently featured in a news story by Cleveland NBC affiliate WKYC, which highlighted the tour and its impact on audiences. Read the story from WKYC:

Tri‑C’s Interior Design program is expanding to the Westshore Campus, blending creativity, technology and hands‑on experience to help you shape the spaces where people live, work, learn and connect.

Tri‑C’s Summer Theatre Workshop is a two‑week intensive for students in grades 9–12 who want to build confidence, strengthen acting skills, and collaborate with fellow creatives. Our students’ submissions to this year’s League for Innovation in the Community College Student Art Competition were stronger than ever. Twenty-one outstanding pieces were thoughtfully reviewed by 18 of our Art and VC&D faculty — and we’re thrilled to announce that five artworks have been selected to represent Tri-C at the national competition.
