Today, Mrs. Oriti, Ms. Chandler, Mrs. McGinnis, Mrs. Malone, and Mr. Vassanelli had the privilege of accepting our STEM Designation Award. This recognition reflects the dedication, innovation, and hard work of our students, faculty, and staff.

We are proud to be an Ohio STEM-designated school and grateful for the opportunities this distinction provides for our students.

A special thank you to the Ohio STEM Learning Network and the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce for their continued support of STEM education.

We are excited to announce the leadership team for St. Benedict Catholic School for the 2026-2027 school year.

Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Tania McGinnis as our new Principal. Mrs. McGinnis brings a strong commitment to Catholic education, a passion for student success, and a dedication to fostering a faith-filled learning environment. We are confident that her leadership will continue to strengthen the traditions and mission of St. Benedict Catholic School.

We are also pleased to welcome Mrs. Mary Marino as Assistant Principal. Mrs. Marino's experience, enthusiasm, and commitment to excellence will be a tremendous asset to our students, families, and faculty.

In addition, Mr. Christopher Vassanelli will continue serving in his role as Assistant Principal. His ongoing leadership, dedication, and support of our school community will help ensure a smooth transition and continued success for St. Benedict.

Please keep Mrs. McGinnis, Mrs. Marino, and Mr. Vassanelli in your prayers as they begin this exciting new chapter. We look forward to all that God has in store for St. Benedict Catholic School under their leadership.

For 14 years, Mrs. Oriti has led with faith, vision, compassion, and dedication. She helped build not only a school, but a strong and vibrant Catholic community where students, families, and staff could grow and thrive.

Mrs. Oriti, thank you for your leadership, encouragement, and unwavering commitment to our school. You inspired excellence, nurtured faith, and made every student feel valued and loved. Your impact can be seen in every classroom, every tradition, and every life you have touched.

While we are sad to see you leave, we are deeply grateful for all you have given to St. Benedict. The foundation you built and the legacy you leave behind will continue to guide our school for years to come.

How fitting that one of your final days with us included laughter, fun, and bringing our school community together—something you have done so well throughout your 14 years as principal.
