Movement Joy Company is a movement enrichment program tailored specifically to fit your schools day, or after care program. Over 25 years as a dance educator, and choreographer, with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Akron, my passion lies with pre-k through elementary curriculum. It is proven that beginning movement early helps cultivate a positive body image, a healthy lifestyle, and builds confidence that crosses over into every day life. I believe strongly in nurturing self expression, while teaching acceptance, promoting respectfulness, and uplifting the classroom as a whole, through teamwork and praise. I have found that schools benefit greatly from enrichment programs that include a guided repetition of big motor skills, coordination, strength, flexibility, right/left brain cooperation, cardio health, and an appreciation of the arts and music.
