CSU’s Center for Educational Leadership is pleased to announce that Joanne Quinn, a global leader in system change, leadership and deep learning, will be our January 2026 speaker.

Joanne Quinn is co-author (with Michael Fullan) of the highly acclaimed book Coherence: The Right Drivers in Action for Schools, Districts, and Systems. Reviewers have praised its “focus on building a trusting workforce and implementing a common purpose to achieve lasting results.”

This will be a FREE talk (with breakout sessions) available via Zoom.

So, what is “coherence” in education, you ask?

Coherence refers to the logical alignment of a system's various parts, where curriculum, instruction, and assessment work together harmoniously to enhance student learning. It ensures that a student's educational experience is connected and progressive, providing a consistent path for growth, thus avoiding fragmentation.

This Jan. 22 talk is being presented in partnership with the Greater Cleveland School Superintendents’ Association (GCSSA) and is part of the Roslyn Z. Wolf Lecture in Education series. It will be presented via Zoom. More details to come!
