Dancing Through A Masterpiece

This portrait feels timeless, uniting the elegance of ballet with the grandeur of architecture. Beneath soaring stone arches, Amaia rises en pointe, her flowing blush gown mirroring the graceful curves of the vaulted ceiling. Soft light spills through the windows, casting a painterly glow, as if she has stepped from a Renaissance canvas.

A gifted dancer, singer, and performer, Amaia has pursued the arts since beginning ballet at just three years old. Years of discipline and devotion have shaped both her artistry and her character, reflecting the same focus and excellence she brings to every part of her life.

I wanted to capture Amaia as though she were dancing through a painting—each movement timeless, each pose a story. The breathtaking architecture of Cornell University, with its soaring arches and intricate stonework, became the perfect backdrop for this vision. Together, the setting and Amaia’s artistry create an image that celebrates strength, grace, and imagination in a moment both classic and unforgettable. Sinue Gomez Amaia Mower Sinue Gomez

A Heart in Harmony

Claire is a young woman whose beauty is matched only by the kindness of her heart and the many talents she has nurtured along the way. For the past nine years, the violin has been more than an instrument—it has been a part of her story, making this breathtaking Upstate New York landscape the perfect setting to capture her love for music.
Whether she's performing with her violin, playing flag football, or simply enjoying the outdoors, Claire embraces life with gratitude and joy. She finds happiness in life's simple pleasures—wildflowers in bloom, unforgettable sunsets, cheering on her favorite team-the Buffalo Bills, and quiet afternoons fishing with her dad. Her beloved dogs, Elvis Presley and Josh Allen, are treasured companions who always bring a smile to her face. and although they are not in this image we did capture some great images with them for her album.
Above all else, Claire treasures the people she loves. Her family and friends are the center of her world, and her compassionate spirit, sense of humor, genuine kindness, and thoughtful heart shine through in everything she does.
Like the violin she so gracefully plays, Claire brings beauty, warmth, and harmony to the world around her. She truly has a heart of pure gold.

Casting Toward Tomorrow

From the time he was a little boy splashing in the waves along this shore, to days spent boating, fishing and golfing on the lake making memories with family, Keuka Lake has always been woven into Conor's story. And, no matter where life takes him, it will always be part of his soul.

This shoreline holds a deep significance—it has been in Conor’s family for four generations. It is the very spot his parents' wedding took place, making it a perfect backdrop not only to represent his childhood, but also the beginning of his family's journey.

Over the years, this point became his favorite place to fish. It is where early mornings and peaceful evenings taught him patience, perseverance, and an appreciation for nature's beauty. Standing here today, rod in hand, Conor reflects on both the memories of the little boy who once explored these waters and the remarkable young man he has become.

Watching Conor grow into someone defined by kindness, discipline, humility and quiet confidence has been one of life's greatest joys. As the birds soar overhead and the sun settles over Keuka Lake, this image symbolizes more than a love for fishing—it represents the journey from childhood to adulthood rooted in family, strengthened by tradition, and filled with hope for everything that lies ahead.

Thank you Sheila and Rance for trusting me to capture Conor’s senior story! Thank you Rance for the boat ride to capture this! Sheila Burke Reynolds

Where Summer Holds My Heart

This image embodies everything there is to love about home and summertime in the country. Sofie spends the school year in Tennessee, but every summer she looks forward to returning to New York, where she can enjoy everything that makes an Upstate New York summers so special. From days spent on the boat at the lake with family to evenings at her uncle's property—exploring the pond, riding her dirt bike, and simply being together with the people she loves—these are the moments she treasures most.

The floral swing that they built themselves, suspended over the water (thanks to her dad and uncle), the golden light breaking through the trees, and Sofie's peaceful expression create a feeling of reflection, freedom, and the fleeting beauty of summer. The summer wind dancing through the field and across the pond and the unmistakable scent of summer filling the air, she is reminded of where her heart feels most at home. It is a place filled with cherished memories, laughter, and the simple joys that only home can provide.

No matter where life takes her, there truly is no place like home.

Where Twilight Lingers- is a novel like portrait of elegance and melancholy—a scene that suggests a story still waiting to be told and a song still waiting to be played.

The violin rests gently in Sophia’s hands, poised between silence and song, as though a single note could awaken the memories hidden within the walls. The novels on the step represent her love of reading, especially the Twilight series, while the ballet shoes symbolize the 14 years she has devoted to her dance, a passion she has cherished deeply. Sophia has played the violin for 12 years, demonstrating remarkable dedication, discipline, and creativity. Through music, dance, and literature, Sophia has cultivated her many talents while embracing the things she loves most. Above all, she possesses a beautiful spirit, a kind heart, and a genuine love for life. Betsy Duell Snyder
