PSA - for months now I have been employing an app called Cloaked. The purpose of it is to reduce or eliminate spam calls the volume of which became horrible. Something like 30-50 spam calls per one of normal call from family friends or customers. The problem is that Cloaked now blocks all calls and has people go through some process to verify that they are real people that I might like to talk to. Sigh. At this point I suggest that new folk who with to talk to me should email @gmail.com. Sorry about this trouble but if you have ever experienced spam volume like I have, perhaps you can understand.

I've just finished downloading and installing the latest update for my Bosendorfer but I'm still having trouble playing it very well.

I'm feeling deeply grateful to all my customers who have stuck with me through so many years. Even though I don't have the business entity anymore (Greg's Piano Forte) I still tune and repair pianos just under my own name. At this stage in my life it has made good sense to give up the heavier things such as moving and rebuilding and refinishing. Thank you for your trust all these years! I greatly appreciate it.

What a great day to stay inside and refresh myself on pieces I learned long ago. Some quite rusty and some not so bad. We'll have a whole week or more of this coming. What are some pieces that you are laying these days? My favorites are almost always Rachmaninoff, but I enjoy a great deal of other composers as well.

Do you regularly pick out new music to learn? Do you analyze it before you play it? What about different styles? Do you expand your horizons? Is music is the universal language are you only interested in one kind of story? I hope these thoughts cause you to entertain a new path to ad to the ones that you have already been down.
