At the International Business Ethics and Sustainability Case Competition this team took on three intense presentations - from a full sustainability strategy to a 10-minute presentation with no slides to a 90-second pitch - and delivered.

But what made this experience special wasn’t just the results, it was the team.

Three of our student teams recently competed in the CWRU Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship’s Morganthayler Pavey Startup Competition, representing both the Venture and Social Impact tracks. And wow did they delivered:

✨ eLEXir – 2nd place (Venture Track)
🔥 Blazecue – 1st place (Social Impact Track)
♻️ Thrifty – 2nd place (Social Impact Track)

These results reflect the creativity, discipline, and purpose-driven thinking our students bring to building ventures that aim to make a real difference.

Grateful to the Veale Institute for creating a platform where students can test, refine, and elevate their ideas. So proud of Menaka Wijeratne , Krupa Venkatesan , Niousha Sima , Ayati Lala, and Jack Loomis and I’m so excited to see what’s next for these teams.
