NEOSEF hosted the Advancing STEM Research Teaching (ASRT) workshop this week in Cleveland with 24 dedicated and enthusiastic local science educators. We can't wait to see all the exciting activities and opportunities this will generate in the next few years.
ASRT is a week-long professional development workshop focused on curriculum, activities, and guides to support high school teachers in providing STEM research opportunities for their students.
Thanks to Regeneron and the Northeast Ohio Science & Engineering Fair for supporting this invaluable workshop, led by ASRT’s Program Director, Michael Blueglass—a 35 year veteran educator with over 20 years of experience as a science fair director and high school STEM research teacher. Additional thanks to MidTown Cleveland, Inc. for providing the workshop venue.
