Back-to-School Fair is almost here! 💙

Come hungry and ready to connect at this year’s Back-to-School Fair, happening tomorrow, Tuesday, August 11, from 4:00–6:00 PM!

There will be plenty to enjoy, including:
🌭 K&G Culinary Creations Food Truck — hot dogs, Polish boys, hand-cut fries, pop, and water
🍧 Kona Ice Truck
👕 Spartan Gear
🍬 Sweet Treats
🚒 Touch a Truck with the City of Richmond Heights first responders (weather permitting)

Drop in anytime between 4:00 and 6:00 PM and connect with school and community vendors who are excited to help get your family ready for a great school year!

We are excited to welcome Ms. Mary Simon to Richmond Heights Local Schools as our new School Psychologist at the Elementary School! 🌟

When asked what she is most excited about this year, Ms. Simon shared:
"I am most excited to work within such an amazing school district and to connect with the students, teachers, and staff. I’m excited to watch the entire district shine throughout the school year."

Secondary School Schedule Pick-Up Information! ‼️

Richmond Heights Secondary School families, it’s almost time to get ready for the new school year!

Here’s when you can pick up your student’s schedule:

📅 Tuesday, August 11 | 4:00–6:00 PM
Pick up schedules during the Back-to-School Fair.

📅 Thursday, August 13 | 9:00–11:00 AM
Pick up schedules in the Secondary School main entrance hallway.

💻 Schedules will also be available Tuesday morning through ProgressBook.
📝 Schedule change forms will be available, although please note that schedule changes will not be made at that time.

Understanding how school funding works in Ohio can be confusing because not all school dollars can be used for the same purpose.

Some funding supports the day-to-day operation of our schools, including transportation, staffing, classroom instruction and extracurricular programs. Other funding is legally restricted to permanent facility improvements, such as buildings, athletic facilities and other capital projects.

As Richmond Heights Local Schools begins a new school year with several important initiatives underway, we want to help our community better understand how different funding sources work and how they may legally be used.

Open gyms are held:
• Monday through Thursday
• 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Whether you are new to the game or looking to sharpen your skills, this is a great opportunity to meet the team, improve your game, and get ready for the upcoming season. ✨
