The Athena Collective is a monthly membership that utilizes both an interactive, private Facebook group & resources that are located on my website. It is a community for women who are looking for growth in all aspects of their lives and to improve their mindset, set up healthy habits, etc. as well as build connections with like-minded individuals who can help support & encourage!

How I heal my energy ✨

We all know life can be difficult. It throws us curveballs and sometimes everything that can go wrong, does go wrong. It’s times like these that it is important to slow down and listen to what our bodies are telling us.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s no lie that I have had a little bit of a rough month. It’s been one thing after another it seems and it can leave me feeling very overwhelmed, anxious, exhausted, etc.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When things like this occur, my favorite thing to do is curl up on the couch with Luna (my sweet kitty), drink some hot tea, light candles, and read a good book with some soft music in the background. Just this alone is very grounding for me. It brings me back to the simple joys of life and helps me take my mind off of whatever it is that is causing me distress.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Other times it calls for something a little more active to release all the tension and negative energy I’m holding within myself. In these moments, going for a run or boxing does wonders! The trick is to know if you need rest, peace, and to feel grounded or if you need to fight it out.

Athena is the Greek goddess of wisdom, courage, the arts, and strategic warfare. In many pieces of art and literature, Athena is depicted as a woman who emulates power and authority. ⚡️

Yet despite her status as the goddess of war, she is also associated with peace and handicraft. She is the patron goddess of heroic endeavors and the protector of cities. 🕊
