Parents, this one’s for you!
It’s more important than ever to make sure you’re doing everything you can to set your child up for success. I have a few tips to help you on this journey.
There are a few important things that I want to note:
📝You do not have to have a fancy desk set up for your child if you do not have the space and resources for it. A clear space with their work and learning materials will do.
📝 Keeping a child on a schedule provides a sense of stability, security and predictability.
📝 If you can, have your child work soft study music in the background. Try to limit any television shows or music with lyrics.
📝 It’s IMPERATIVE that you let your child do all of their work on their own. You can always help them get it correct the next time. If they never try, they’ll never know what they’re truly capable of.
📝 Don’t forget to encourage them when do get it right and even when they get it wrong. Positive reinforcement goes a long way!
This video has been sitting in my drafts for weeks while I tried to find a way to make it fun and catchy. Literally weeks. Today, as I scrolled past it AGAIN, I told myself that was enough. It’s going up exactly the way it was recorded.
