It’s Pentecost Sunday!

“Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.” -Acts 2:38-39

Last weekend, we celebrated another graduating class from the Lee University School of Theology & Ministry and we’re still reflecting on what a significant milestone this truly is.

Years of reading, writing, praying, & persevering have led to this moment. Behind every diploma is a story of long nights, sacrifice, deep formation, and faithful commitment to the work God has called these graduates to.

We are deeply proud of our graduates and grateful for the ways they will influence the life of the Church, the academy, and the world. Congratulations again, Class of 2026. 🎓

The STM’s own Dr. Justin Walker was awarded the Excellence in Scholarship award this year. He was honored yesterday at graduation and the STM graduates cheered him on as he accepted it. Congratulations, JWalk!

The STM had two undergraduate students speak at the service - Macey Jones and Harrison Rucker. Both did a fantastic job sharing their Lee story!

We are so excited to see all our graduates walk across the stage tomorrow!

Freshman STM student Eden George spoke this morning at “Love Your Mama” chapel where we celebrate our amazing first-year students.

Great job, Eden! And congrats to all of our freshman STM students who are about to wrap up their first year!

Semi-annual Greek party! These students work hard learning the language so we have to take a break to celebrate each semester! 🎉

Easter Sunday is just a few days away, and we have graduates all over the WORLD preparing to serve in their local church as pastors, children’s ministers, youth pastors, and so many other roles. If you are a graduate of the STM (or SOR) and will be serving in any capacity on Easter, comment with your church name, what year you graduated, and what you are doing at your church!
