🎨 New Painting Process Video – The Young Guardian

Every painting has a story.
The Young Guardian began with a photograph of my daughter, Leilani, wearing one of her favorite Halloween costumes as Raya. It wasn't just the costume that inspired me—it was her expression and the pose that made me want to preserve the moment.

The original photo was taken in our living room, but I knew the painting needed a different setting. As the artwork developed, I explored several background ideas before creating a rustic outdoor scene that transformed the portrait into something more adventurous and imaginative.
