🏆 PENNY WARS RESULTS ARE IN! 🪙

4th Grade Hallway understood the assignment. 😎

After a late surge, they came flying to the top and took the Penny Wars trophy!

🥇 4th Grade Hallway
🥈 Kindergarten Hallway
🥉 3rd Grade Hallway
4️⃣ 1st Grade Hallway
5️⃣ 2nd Grade Hallway
6️⃣ 5th Grade Hallway - apparently redirecting assets toward candy sales and a Washington, D.C. trip. Also, retirement accounts remain fully funded. 😂📈

And the BEST news: we raised more than $4,200! 🎉📚

That puts us nearly halfway to our goal of purchasing a book vending machine for Clemson Elementary!

Thank you to every family who emptied piggy banks, junk drawers, and car cupholders for the cause. 😂

Congratulations, 4th Grade Hallway — bragging rights are officially yours! 🏆

🏈 PENNY WARS: THURSDAY CHAOS EDITION 🪙

We thought we understood the leaderboard.

We did not.

4th Grade woke up today and chose to fight. 😂
After quietly hanging around all week, they made a BIG move and are suddenly very much in this thing.

Meanwhile, 2nd Grade is still holding strong, and Kindergarten and 3rd Grade are not exactly ready to concede.

And then there is 5th Grade.

Still last.

Still apparently committed to a very disciplined long-term savings strategy.

At this point, we can only assume they have opened Roth IRAs, or maybe 529's. 🪙📈

TOMORROW IS THE FINAL DAY OF PENNY WARS, which means this is it. Last chance for a comeback. Last chance to shake up the leaderboard. Last chance to empty the coin jar before everyone forgets where they put it again for another year.

Every dollar raised goes toward our BOOK VENDING MACHINE for Clemson Elementary, so raid the couch cushions, check the car, call Grandma, and bring those coins in tomorrow!

WHO IS TAKING HOME THE TROPHY?! 🏆📚🪙

🏈PENNY WARS MIDWEEK SCOREBOARD UPDATE 🪙

🥇- 2nd grade hallway is solidly in the lead!

👀Kindergarten and 3rd grade hallways are in striking distance, one strategically emptied piggy bank could change everything!

And then there’s 5th grade hallway friends…still bringing up the rear. They have a level of commitment to not carrying coins to school that is impressive!

Remember every penny, nickel, dime, quarter, and dollar is helping us save for a book vending machine for Clemson Elementary!

We still have plenty of game left. Raid the couch cushions. Check the car cupholders. Call Grandma. Search the junk drawer. That random jar of coins that has been sitting on the dresser since 2017? THIS IS ITS MOMENT!

Who is making a move before Friday?! 🪙🏈📚

An exciting start to Penny Wars 2026!

1st Grade has the lead, can they hold onto it?? Multiple kids in the cafeteria today were reporting they plan to “sabotage” the first graders!

PTA is working toward a goal of purchasing a book vending machine!! All donations to Penny Wars help get us there! 💙🧡
