Check your local rules and Admin Orders if you are using AI!

Two of Florida’s largest judicial circuits now require lawyers and self-represented litigants to disclose AI-generated court submissions, and to certify their accuracy.

Failure to comply could result in sanctions that range from the striking of the pleadings to monetary sanctions, contempt proceedings, or disciplinary referral.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this evening for an important and impactful discussion in recognition of Human Trafficking Prevention Awareness Month.

A special thank you to Honorable Robert Bauman, of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit, for his insightful and powerful presentation on human trafficking in the Tampa Bay area. Judge Bauman provided invaluable perspective on how trafficking affects our local community and the critical role legal professionals play in recognizing, reporting, and supporting victims.

We are grateful to all of the paralegals, attorneys, and legal professionals who attended, engaged in meaningful conversation, and helped make this evening a success. These discussions matter, and awareness is a vital step toward action.

We appreciate our legal community’s continued commitment to education, advocacy, and service.
We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events and continuing these important conversations together.
