This is probably the most important quote when it comes to trauma and emotional healing. We all have things in our lives where we do and say things for an unconscious reasons. It is the state of it being unconscious that prevents us from elevating to the next level in our existence and within our soul. Yet, even the desire to want better without knowing why is the very level of awareness that lends to this healing. Having a life coach to help you discover what lies beneath the patterns and beliefs can mean the difference between staying where you are and finding new life and living it.

On the road to personal healing, this lesson can be so pivotal. Once you realize your worth and how you allowed certain things inside your space, you will wonder how that ever was. Your boundaries will be defined and you will, as the post says, never tolerate those things again.

I recently went to Branson, Missouri with my husband. We were taking a walk on a paved trail canopied by Fall colors and evergreens. I was sharing a memory from my teen years of when I would camp with my bff Kimberley Leon and her parents and how we had befriended golden mantled squirrels and chipmunks. Among the details, I verbally wished they were in this area and that I could see one again. We kept walking and, a few moments later, a chub just the one in this photo came out of nowhere and made himself visible to me. Honestly, I wanted to fall on the ground and break down and cry. I felt like God had sent me a personal message to let me know my desires still matter and that nothing is too small to ask. I say I wanted to cry because I hadn’t felt this type of attentiveness in so long, it was like watering a dry tree. I tear up thinking about how, even though many good things have been given to me over the years, this particular moment truly was extra special for me. I really, truly needed that moment. Thank you, Hashem.

If you've been following me long enough, you might remember an online summit I created back in September 2020. It was called "Hopeless to Happy." I just learned today that one of my beloved speakers, Lucia Capacchione, took her own life at the end of November in 2022. I am devastated by this news. I remember being extremely excited to have her as a guest, since I had owned one of her books since the 90s. We had a lovely conversation about the power of the non-dominant hand in healing the inner child. In memory of her, I am releasing our interview for public view in hopes that her expertise will help someone else in the future.
