Also, note on your calendars the date of Thursday, March 5, 2026, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Plans are to meet in the dining room at Cleveland Draft House (Shotwell Rd, Clayton) for lunch on March 5 and to reserve their banquet room for an October 2026 annual reunion. An email to classmates will follow about the March 5 date in early 2026.

March 6, 2025: Today a group of us met for our mid-year Clayton High School Class of '68 gathering at Cleveland Draft House in Clayton. We enjoyed lunch in their main dining room, enjoyed conversation with one another, and we all pitched in to reserve Cleveland Draft House's banquet room for our upcoming 57th (Annual) Class Reunion. Our 57th reunion will be held there on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Here are a few photos from March 6.

The Clayton H.S. (NC) Class of '68 is saddened to have lost our dear classmate, Edith Brady Nelson. She was a friend to many, and we truly missed her at our 56th reunion on 10/11/24. Edith's children posted this (below) on FaceBook for ways you can honor the life and memory of Edith Brady Nelson. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of Edith's family and her special friend, Carl.

With sadness, I learned of another Class of '68 classmate who passed away a few days ago. Karen Crowder was in our Class of '68 for many years, from a child into high school. As I understand it, she had been sick for a while. Her brief obituary is at the link below. I do not have any other details, although I believe she leaves behind a number of relatives, some of whom many of us know or have known.
