📘 BlanBridge Update — From Workbooks to the Real World

We’ve hit another big milestone!

Most of our Reviewer Workbooks are officially in the hands of our reviewers and being put to the test. There are still a few sets left to print and ship, but apparently our printer decided that after thousands of pages of BlanBridge material, it had earned itself a little vacation. 😂

A new fuser is on the way, and as soon as it arrives, we’ll get the last few reviewer sets printed and out the door.

Then comes one of the most important parts of this entire process: waiting for our reviewers to complete the workbooks and tell us what worked, what didn’t, what was confusing, and what can be better.

One thing I also want to clarify about the BlanBridge workbooks:

You are NOT expected to complete every section.

These workbooks are intentionally comprehensive because every family is different. A section that is extremely important for one family may have absolutely nothing to do with another.

The goal is simple: complete what is relevant to your family and your situation, and skip what isn't.

We want the tools to be there when someone needs them—not force every family into the same box.

And something else happened during this testing phase that I’m incredibly excited about.

Using the completed workbooks from one of our reviewers, we were able to take their answers and turn them into a drafted parenting plan proposal tailored specifically to their situation. That proposal has now been submitted and accepted for filing by the court.

That matters to BlanBridge because it demonstrates something we’ve been working toward from the beginning:

The workbooks aren’t just hundreds of pages of questions.

They’re designed to help parents identify the issues that actually matter to their family and think through the details, decisions, schedules, expectations, and real-life situations that can go into building a comprehensive parenting plan.

This was our first opportunity to take a completed reviewer set and follow that process from beginning to end.

And it worked.

There is still plenty of testing, reviewing, editing, and improving ahead of us before these workbooks are ready for everyone—but seeing the process work in a real-world situation is a pretty incredible milestone.

Now we wait for the rest of our reviewers to put BlanBridge through its paces. 💙

Another BlanBridge milestone. 💙

The Founding Reviewer Kits are coming together!
What started as an idea, a lot of notes, and a vision for helping families navigate parenting plans has turned into something I can actually hold in my hands.

Each Reviewer Kit contains all four BlanBridge Parenting Plan Workbooks, organized into one binder with individual sections, reviewer materials, confidentiality agreement, pens, highlighters, sticky notes, and everything our reviewers need to mark these things up and give us their feedback.
And as you can probably tell from the pictures… these aren't little workbooks. 😂

These first copies aren't supposed to be perfect. That's the whole point. They're working drafts going into the hands of our Founding Reviewers so they can write on them, highlight them, find problems, tell us what works, tell us what doesn't, and help us make the final product better.
Every correction, suggestion, ugly handwritten note, highlighted paragraph, and “Matt, what the heck were you thinking here?” is exactly what I want back. 😂

After the reviewer copies return, we'll take all that feedback, make the revisions, and continue moving toward the finished BlanBridge Parenting Plan Workbook Series.

Seeing several of these kits assembled at once really puts into perspective just how much work has gone into this project.

And we're still just getting started. 💙

BlanBridge Progress Update 💙

It’s crazy to look back at where this started and see where we are today.

What began as an idea to help parents better organize, plan, and prepare for building a parenting plan has turned into four complete workbooks, hundreds of pages of resources, reviewer copies being printed and distributed, a website being built, and an actual business growing behind it all.

Right now, our reviewer copies are making their way out so we can get real feedback from real people. Once those come back, we’ll make the necessary changes, move into professional editing and formatting, and take another huge step toward making the BlanBridge Parenting Plan Workbooks available to families.

At the same time, we’re continuing to work behind the scenes on the bigger BlanBridge vision. The workbooks are only the beginning.

There are still a lot of late nights, a lot of printing, a ridiculous amount of toner 😂, and plenty of work ahead—but every week this becomes a little less of an idea and a little more real.

And seeing people say, “I wish I had something like this when I was going through my case,” reminds me exactly why we started.

The goal has never changed:

Give parents better tools. Help families communicate and prepare. Keep children at the center of the decisions that affect their lives.

We’re getting there. One page, one reviewer, and one step at a time. 💙

Each reviewer will be receiving all 4 Parenting Plan Workbooks together so they can actually work through them the way they were designed to be used — writing in them, highlighting, making notes, catching things I missed, and giving me their completely honest feedback.

These aren't polished retail copies. They're Reviewer Copies — numbered, watermarked, and put together specifically for the people helping me take BlanBridge from a first edition to something even better.

Seeing the first three complete kits sitting there is pretty awesome considering these started as nothing more than an idea and a whole lot of notes.

I'll be reaching out to each reviewer individually as their copy is ready with the details and timeline.

• Read through the workbook(s).

SNEAK PEEK!!!!

One more exciting update for everyone following the BlanBridge journey...

I've been working closely with the website designer, and I'm happy to say the BlanBridge website is getting very close to launching! It's been exciting watching everything start to come together.

This won't just be a place to buy workbooks. I want it to tell the story behind BlanBridge, share the mission, provide resources for parents, and grow alongside everything that's still to come.

Today marks another major milestone for BlanBridge.

The first editions of all four Parenting Plan Workbooks are officially complete—more than 760 pages of planning tools, worksheets, examples, and guidance designed to help parents make child-focused decisions.

My next step is preparing the official numbered reviewer copies.

These aren't just proof copies. They're an opportunity for trusted reviewers to highlight, circle, write notes, ask questions, and tell me exactly what works and what doesn't. Honest feedback now will help make the published editions even stronger.

Every reviewer will receive a numbered copy, and as a thank-you, they'll receive a signed published copy with that same reviewer number once the books are released.

This project has been built one page at a time, one revision at a time, and one conversation at a time. It's exciting to finally be at the stage where others will be able to hold these workbooks in their hands and help shape the first edition.

A little BlanBridge update...

Today was one of those moments that reminded me this is becoming real.

Books 1, 2, and 3 have now been printed into physical review copies. Holding them in my hands after months of writing, designing, editing, and revising is an incredible feeling.

Each workbook is designed to guide parents through a different part of creating a child-focused parenting plan:

📘 Book 1: Parent & Child Profile Workbook
📘 Book 2: Parenting Schedule Workbook
📘 Book 3: Co-Parenting Decisions Workbook

I'm currently editing Book 4, which will complete the first four-part workbook series.

Once Book 4 is finished, the next milestone begins: combining all four books into one complete BlanBridge Parenting Plan Workbook. That complete edition will bring everything together into a single, comprehensive resource to help parents organize information, make thoughtful decisions, and prepare for one of the most important responsibilities they'll ever have—their children.

This has never been about publishing a book.
It's about creating something that helps parents communicate better, helps professionals work more efficiently, and ultimately helps children by giving parents the tools to put them first.

Every page brings the vision of BlanBridge one step closer.
