After much prayer and consideration,
we are postponing our school launch at this time.

New state requirements for micro schools to be treated as private schools—
including mandatory accreditation to receive EFA funding—
conflict with the mission and flexibility we believe are essential.

At the same time, God has opened doors for our founding families
to focus their time and energy on planting a local church—
a calling we are joyfully pursuing in this season.

Good news for Arkansas families! 🎉

Pilgrim Way Academy is now officially classified as a micro school with the Arkansas Department of Education. That means:

➡️ Families can use Educational Freedom Account (EFA) funding toward tuition in the 2025–2026 school year.
➡️ We are fully eligible under Arkansas’s school choice law!

✅ Curriculum Fee: $500
✅ Enrollment Fee: $150 — only charged if your child is accepted

Pilgrim Way Academy is hiring teachers for the 2025–2026 school year!
We’re seeking 3 part-time instructors to shepherd and inspire students in the following Forms:

📘 Form 1 (Grades K–2)

📗 Form 2 (Grades 3–5)

📙 Form 3 (Grades 6–8)

Our ideal candidates are Christ-centered, joy-filled, and experienced in classical, hybrid, or homeschool education. Teachers will provide in-person instruction Tuesdays and Thursdays, with off-campus lesson prep and a weekly faculty meeting.
Applicants must affirm our Statement of Faith and love cultivating wonder, virtue, and biblical truth in the classroom.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Homeschooling Together: A Community for Families! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

We believe that homeschooling doesn’t have to mean doing it alone. That’s why we are launching Pilgrim Way Academy—a collaborative micro-school designed to equip, support, and strengthen homeschooling families.

Starting Fall 2025, families will have the opportunity to enroll their children in a hybrid homeschool model at Hagerville Baptist Church with:
📖 2 full classroom days (Tuesdays & Thursdays)
🏡 2 at-home learning days (Mondays & Wednesdays) with structured lesson plans
👩‍🏫 Grades K-10 with small class sizes (max 12 per teacher)

Whether you’re new to homeschooling or simply looking for a supportive, faith-filled community, this program is a wonderful way to provide structure while maintaining flexibility.
