The word says, “The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is?" - Jeremiah 17:9 NKJV
Stop playing with God. You're either going to live Holy and set a part or you're going to live and look like the world. You can't be both.

So, I did a thing! I finally gave God my YES to starting a women's Bible study!..
God has been telling me to do this for the last year in a half and I came up with every excuse I could think of as to why I couldn't do it and wasn't qualified to do it. God brought to my attention
2 Corinthians 3:5- I am not competent by myself, but my competence comes from God. ..
A few months ago God said, "You're the woman for the job and the time is now!" And He reminded me that he will give me the wisdom and words I need to lead the group. I don't claim to have all the answers or know all of the Bible, but I do know that there are women God has called me to and placed in my life that need me to be obedient and walk in the purpose he placed in me, so that they can walk out the purpose he placed in them!.
Every week just gets gooder and gooder (I know not a word😆) but these women have been such a blessing to me as well. We pour into one another and pray for one another & I look forward to this study every Wednesday for my fill up. I appreciate them helping me birth what God has placed inside of me. ..
I love that I can cultivate a safe space for women to learn more about God, be broken, get healed, grow in the things of God & be vulnerable & transparent with other women, while being authentically themselves.😭 Idk what else God has in store for me, but I do trust that as I continue to walk in obedience, God will continue to light my path and as I seek first his kingdom & righteousness all other things will be added to me! 💕

Watch Out Kindergarten here she comes!..
The official first day is tomorrow, but Kennsie gets to go spend a day with her teacher. And her teacher looks like her! I love that for her, because representation definitely matters and has played a significant impact and role in my baby's love for learning. She was blessed to get her Pre-K teacher Mrs. Johnson back from last year. We're so excited for this school year! ..
Kennsie is so excited and ready to learn!

The girls first time to the movies and we went to see The Barbie Movie!

One saying that stood out to me was
"We stand still so our daughters can look back and see how far they've come." -Barbie.
Despite the bad reviews I've seen about the movie it was actually really good. Of course there were some topics that I didn't care for, but overall it had a good story line. ..
Y'all know I had to look at it from a spiritual standpoint. What I took from it is that although the world & culture may try to tell women how to BE,
how to dress, how to behave or just plain show up in this world, God never called us to be (Barbies) aka perfect.. we should be who HE created us to be. No matter what circumstances change in our lives, we can ultimately look to the ONE who shapes our identity and show up as HER, with Godfidence. ..
The girls and I discussed the movie afterwards and I'd say they definitely understood what was happening. I'm just grateful to be their mommy to give them the guidance they need to show up in the world as their AUTHENTIC SELVES! Great movie!

And I'm mad they didn't have the Barbie box at our theater😒

Look who turned 2 months on yesterday! (27th)..
Kais is such a happy baby. She's already cooing, trynna talk, and she's loud too lol! She loves to smile and she really just brightens up our world! ..
She's now 10lbs 12 oz and 22in long.

My baby girl is 6 weeks today!..
I feel like we're somewhat out of the trenches now lol! We couldn't get right at 1 month!🤣🥴..
Baby Kais is cooing, smiling and loves to observe everything! (She low-key nosey)🤣 She loves sitting up already and doing skin to skin with mommy. I'm just so grateful and blessed to have a healthy and happy baby!
