For anyone with a 5th grade student at West Milford Elementary or a 4th/5th grade student at Lost Creek Elementary:

Bandland & Percussion Center will be in the SHMS cafeteria to play test students on band instruments from 5-6:30pm on Tuesday, September 17.

You will also be able to rent an instrument from Bandland at this meeting. To do so, you will need a credit or debit card as well as banking information (routing and account numbers).

Did you know you can support the SHHS Band by simply shipping at Kroger?

Just follow the steps below on the Kroger app and remember to use your phone number when you check out. Kroger will then donate a percentage of every purchase to our band, at no cost to you.

Band Camp is officially one week away!

The first week, beginning July 29, will be reserved for sectionals, and the schedule can be found on the Band App. If you are a band student or parent/guardian of a band member and you are not in the Band App yet, please text “Band App” to 304-404-3348.

This includes any student that is interested in joining the flag line/auxiliary.

Please note: the Band App is for current high school band members and their parents/guardians. If you aren’t a student or a guardian, all the information you will need is here on our “fan page,” so there is no need for you to join the app. 😁

If you have any questions you can always email Mr. Broadwater or message him on the Band App.

The South Harrison High School Band is selling Tidal Wave Auto Spa car wash tickets. This ticket is $10 and will get you a $30 car was and vaccum access. It will also allow you to sign up for a month of unlimited carwashes for an extra $10 if you would like to try their services! You can cancel at anytime!
This coupon will not expire until June 30, 2025. So you have plenty of time to use it at your convenience.

Starting Monday the band members will have them available or you can reach out to Mr. Broadwater or one of the band boosters.

We were very fortunate to host the Glenville State University Big Band today. The band, featuring SH class of ‘22 Carissa Coffindaffer, played a concert for the entire student body. Thank you Dr. Jason Barr and GSU! It was a fantastic concert.

The Harrison County All-County Band concert was held at Robert C. Byrd High School today. We are very proud of senior Reagan Allen, as well as two freshman band members that participated.

Music is alive and well in all areas of Harrison County!
