To the mothers… 🌷

The ones raising babies and the ones raising teenagers.
The homeschool moms and the working moms.
The adoptive moms, foster moms, stepmoms, and grandmothers stepping in with open arms.
The women praying for babies.
The women grieving babies.
The spiritual mothers pouring into children who are not biologically their own.
The tired moms, the strong moms, the overwhelmed moms, and the moms who quietly hold everything together behind the scenes.

Motherhood is so much more than routines and responsibilities. It is sacrifice, discipleship, comfort, strength, gentleness, and steadfast love lived out daily in a thousand unseen ways.

At LCCL, we know the work of a mother reaches far beyond the walls of a classroom or home. The prayers whispered late at night, the lessons taught around kitchen tables, the encouragement after hard days, the grace extended again and again — these things matter eternally.

Today we honor you.
We thank God for you.
And we pray you feel deeply loved and appreciated for all that you do.

“Her children rise up and call her blessed.” — Proverbs 31:28

🌿 Good Friday 🌿

Today we remember the cross.

Jesus willingly gave His life—bearing our sin, our brokenness, and our place.

“It is finished.” — John 19:30

What looked like defeat was victory.
What felt like loss was love poured out.

Because of the cross, we have hope.

🌿 Maundy Thursday: Love & Surrender 🌿

On this night, Jesus gathered with His disciples for the Last Supper—breaking bread, washing their feet, and preparing their hearts.

“Love one another as I have loved you.” — John 13:34

He chose humility.
He chose service.
He chose the cross.

As we reflect today, may we follow His example—loving others with the same grace He has given us.

Holy Wednesday reminds us of a quieter moment in the story—when choices were made that would lead to the cross (Matthew 26:14–16).

Even in the unseen moments, God was still at work.

As we reflect today, may we draw near to Him and choose hearts that are faithful.

🌿 Holy Week: Stay Awake & Be Ready 🌿

On Tuesday, Jesus spent the day teaching in the temple—calling people to truth, warning against empty religion, and pointing to what is to come (Matthew 21–24).

He reminded them to stay watchful, faithful, and ready.

“Be on guard. Be alert… you do not know when that time will come.” — Mark 13:33

As we reflect today, may we not just hear His words—but live them.

🌿 Holy Week: The King Has Come 🌿

After entering Jerusalem, Jesus went to the temple and looked around at everything (Mark 11:11).

The next day, He returned and drove out those buying and selling, saying:

“My house will be called a house of prayer… but you have made it a den of robbers.” — Mark 11:17

Jesus came not only as King, but to restore what was holy.

🌿 Hosanna in the Highest! 🌿

Today we celebrate Palm Sunday—the beginning of Holy Week and the day Jesus entered Jerusalem, greeted with praise and expectation.

“Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” — Mark 11:9

As we reflect on this moment, we are reminded that the same crowd who shouted Hosanna would soon face confusion, doubt, and ultimately the truth of who Christ is.

This week, we slow down.
We remember.
We prepare our hearts.

At LCCL, we are so grateful to walk alongside our students as they learn not only academics, but the deeper truth of the Gospel—understanding who Jesus is and why He came.

May our hearts be like those who welcomed Him—not just in celebration, but in surrender.

🌿 Hosanna—save us, Lord. 🌿
