She brought the stories from Paris—I cooked dinner. 🍷✨

Nothing fills my cup more than feeding the people I love and gathering around the table to catch up after months apart.

These are the moments that remind me why I became a chef. 🤍

I know it’s only July… and I don’t care. It’s never to early for a pumpkin spice iced latte 🎃🤎☕️ 🍂 Huge shoutout to my favorite taste tester Dayday for helping me get it just right.
Fall, you can come whenever you’re ready. 🍁

Meet the Chef 🤍

Hi, I’m Jordyn—the face behind The Authentic Food Snob.

Food has always been at the center of my life. I grew up in a big family with a mom who believed there was always room for one more at the table. She taught me that great meals aren’t just about what’s on the plate—they’re about bringing people together. Looking back, I didn’t realize I was learning to cook for a crowd long before it became my career.

I am a graduate of Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts. I have spent more than 10 years in the hospitality industry, starting as a server and working my way through restaurants and wineries before taking the leap to build my own private chef business.

Along the way, I met my fiancé while we were both working at one of Georgia’s premier wineries. He’s a chef too, and while we share the same passion for food, building my own business has always been a dream I was determined to chase.

When I’m not wearing my chef coat, you’ll usually find me camping, chasing sunsets, exploring North Georgia, or gathered around a table with the people I love.

At the end of the day, my life has always revolved around bringing people together through good food, genuine connection, and a lot of laughter. Whether it’s an elegant chef’s table, a backyard dinner, or a quiet evening at the campsite and river, I believe the best memories are made around a table.

Thanks for being here—I can’t wait to cook for you all. 🍷✨

Trading four walls for fresh air before the rain rolls in. Sometimes the best ideas come with a view. Now time to write up some client menus! ⛈️💻

I can always appreciate a homemade dessert. Shout out to Public House of Dahlonega for this extraordinary slice of banana pudding cheesecake! It’s the perfect treat in this summer heat. 🍌🍒 Jordyn O'Dell

Nothing says “almost fall” quite like a Harvest Salad. 🍂 Fresh apples, candied pecans, cranberries, goat cheese, and homemade raspberry vinaigrette—it’s hard to beat.
