Tevin Thompson, the Thompson Town High school Student Council president, is now runnning for the position of Regional Assistant Vice president for the national Secondary Student Council, representing region six- St.Catherine and Clarendon. please support this enthusiastic, energetic, dedicated and determined student leader as he campaigns for change. vote for Tevin Thompson- Regional Asst. Recently members of the Thompson Town High School student council were invited to a youth forum at the Ministry of Youth and Culture with the minister the Hon. Lisa Hanna. This forum took place in the Ministry of Youth and Culture conference room on Friday October 10, 2014. Some topics discussed include:
1) Jamaica Youth Ambassadors Programme
2) N.S.S.C.-National Secondary Student Council
3) Youth Policy
4) Youth Month (Youth Advance: Not Leaving To Chance)
5) G***a Legislation
6)National Youth Service
7)A.O.B.- Any Other Business
