Happy birthday to Edvard Grieg, one of Ms. Sarah's all-time favorite composers! Here's a picture of Ms. Sarah with Grieg's life-sized statue as well as his composing hut and piano from her trip to visit his home in Norway in 2017.

Known as "Norway’s sonic storyteller," Grieg brought fairy tales and nature to life in his music. He's best known for his magical tune, "In the Hall of the Mountain King," and the peaceful "Morning Mood".

Grieg started learning the piano from his mom at age 6 and wrote his own songs by age 12! He was very short (just 5 feet tall) but made HUGE music. Before every performance, he rubbed a tiny rubber toy frog for good luck.

Our team has spent countless hours carefully planning the layout to create the best possible experience for our vendors, sponsors, and visitors. Seeing the map come together makes this event feel very real—and we cannot wait to share it with all of you!

The countdown is on! Who’s ready for one of Oak Grove’s biggest days of the year? 🎉

Congrats to Rogan, Class of '26 grad!

Rogan came to Harmony Road at age 6 ½ to study with Andrea Nagy, and has since studied with Judy Stanley after graduating from the Keyboard Musician program.

Twelve years later, he's the only student in our history to practice every day. He started our '100 Days of Practice' challenge in 2014 and never stopped, totaling over 4,000 days of practice!

Rogan has also participated in the Piano Solo Festival for nine years, earning two gold cups.

He recently said that he is still surprised that he can play difficult pieces accurately and up to speed. He also noted that understanding music has helped him be more successful in choir and band.

Rogan plans to get a job and may attend college in the future. Congratulations Rogan! You have a bright future ahead. 🎓⭐🎶
