Worldwide Heart to Heart Children's Village

Dear Friends and Family of WWH2H,

Since our founding in 1998 after Hurricane Mitch, Worldwide Heart to Heart Ministries, ASOCORA in Honduras, has been committed to the care and protection of children in Honduras, guided by an unwavering commitment to Christian values and professional integrity.

Recently, we have become aware of certain false statements disseminated in social networks involving our organization and some of our former members. Given this situation, we wish to reiterate that our actions are firmly anchored in religious and professional principles and that we are willing to provide any support and information that may be required by the authorities in this regard.

In response to the current investigations carried out by state entities, we have actively collaborated, providing all the necessary information to facilitate the clarification of the facts. Likewise, considering the best interests of the children, by mutual agreement, the person who has been identified in the investigation has decided to separate himself from our organization until the conclusion of the process, by the right of presumption of innocence protected by the Honduran Constitution and by international treaties.

We deeply regret the false comments made by certain civil organizations and ask that the matters in the process be treated with seriousness and discretion. In this regard, we are consulting with our team to evaluate all possible options and ensure the proper handling of the situation.

We are committed to continue promoting a safe educational environment for our children, supported by rigorous security protocols, aligned with the standards established by competent authorities, including SENAF, ensuring our community the guarantee of safety and care for their children in our educational centers.

We urge the community and the media to exercise patience and allow the investigative processes to develop with the objectivity and impartiality that our legislation demands.

We deeply appreciate the continued support, both nationally and internationally, for the 27 youths still with us, and reaffirm our commitment to the mission of protecting and educating the most vulnerable children in Honduras.
