1/100th of my Across the Floor summer series - I create new ones constantly to keep the kiddos challenged! This section is keeping an eye on foot articulation, weight shift, and FINISHING your phrasing!

To say we had FUN is an understatement! We worked on our toes and heels, our chugs, learning beginner call and answer exercises I love, and topped it off with (their request) “Beat It” - sometimes ya gotta give em what they want! 🤣

An hour and 15 shoved into 30 seconds - every class is different depending on a bunch of factors! Some days I’ll warm up in the center, some days across the floor, some days working on paddle + roll….it keeps tap class spicy! 🔥 And keeps me on my toes, too!

I forgot I had this! Man we cleaned this piece with Clorox 🤣 honestly one of the most beautiful solos I’ve ever done. The kind of solo I would want to do myself! We would dance it together for hours exploring all of the intricacies and dynamics - heaven!
Can’t wait to reimagine it for someone - this piece of music I hear so many different ways! Zuziak literally knocked it outta the park every time. Some of the cleanest feet I’ve ever trained - thankful that these students pushed ME season after season - whatever I was learning for myself, they were learning right alongside me. I treasure these times so much. I’ll share more along the way!
