E.H. Greene Intermediate School

Our students were treated to a great in-school holiday concert today as the Greene Machine and junior high performed for the entire school! The music was lively, fun, and full of energy, and the performers did a fantastic job.

It was a wonderful way to bring some holiday spirit into the school day! Thanks to Mrs. Anderson and the rest of the music department for making the holiday spirit come alive at Greene today!

The Sycamore Art Department is proud to partner with local business Pella Windows to highlight and honor student creativity. Congratulations to 6th grader Vada Reiss, winner of the Pella Choice Award—a wonderful and well-deserved honor!

Vada’s artwork was showcased in the Pella Windows showroom in Montgomery and she also received a cash prize. Way to go, Vada! We are so proud of you! 👏🎉

It was a balmy 45 degrees today, and our students made the most of it at recess! Lots of fresh air, big energy, and even a few brave souls rocking short sleeves as they got all that holiday-adjacent excitement out.

Today was Ugly Sweater Day, and the halls were full of bold and festively questionable holiday fashion choices!
Maybe those Grinches are a little grumpy because we didn’t get a snow day...😄

Our 5th and 6th graders did a great job at last night’s winter concert. They performed a mix of festive holiday music and sounded fantastic! Greene school has so much talent!

Day 2 of Greene Countdown Spirit Wear: Rockin’ Through the Holidays!

Students and staff showed their festive spirit today by wearing their favorite concert, band, and choir shirts. Love the musical holiday vibes! 🎶

We are SO excited to celebrate our amazing 5th grade counselor, Mrs. Chelsea Rose, as Greene’s Staff Member of the Month!
